Replacement Rods Measure for replacement curtain rods from end to end and count number of carriers and returns back to wall. Also, measure length of treatment for cord length. OUTSIDE INSTALLATION Measure the outside width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window to the nearest 1/8". Measure the outside length on both sides to the nearest 1/8" and use the larger of the two. -Measure depth of window and any protruding sills. -Note any obstructions.
